Dans mon travail je recycle du matériel d'origine et de supports divers : sculpture, foundfootage, sons, photographies et mes précédentes oeuvres.Soulignant de la sorte l'aspect polymorphe et la perpétuelle métamorphose de la représentation et révélant par là même la relativité de toute sémantique. Déconstruisant et reconstruisant je produis des artefacts audiovisuels, un "cabinet de curiosités" d'objets visuels et sonores non identifiés, énigmatiques.

| Vidéo and multi media artists. Lives and works in Paris. After post graduate studies at the Fine Arts of Cergy Pontoise (Diplôme national supérieur d'expression plastique) in 1996. Emmanuel Dufour works principally in situ mixing interior design and audiovisual arts (installations and screenings), participates in collective exhibitions and experimental film shows. He composes his films with found images and sounds provided either by reproductions either by realistic situations as can be found in work processes, that he transforms into audiovisual artefacts emphasizing on the polymorphic aspect and perpetual metarmophosis of representation, revealing the relativity of semantics. |
